R.C.I.A.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process in which individuals find out more about the Catholic Faith. Individuals are welcomed by our faith community as they come to an understanding of the Catholic Faith. If they desire to become members after acquiring an understanding of the Faith, they are invited to participate in the sacraments of initiation.
Because the RCIA is a personal journey, there is no set length for the process. Most individuals travel through the process in about a year, but some prefer to delay their decision for a while longer, possibly as long as three years. The rite is adaptable to the needs of the individual. Inquirers attend weekly sessions where we share and learn the faith.
To become a part of the exciting experience that is RCIA, whether as a participant or volunteer, please contact Deacon Tim Coughlin at [email protected] or call Fr. Adolph or the Parish Office 824-2935.
