WE'RE BACK In Person!!!!!
Youth Nights 7-8:30pm
4/22; 5/6; 5/20
Come join us for a Scripture reflection, snacks, some faith sharing and fun games! All high schoolers are welcome.
Fri, May 14th 6-8pm - XLT with Nativity Orchard Park Youth
Exalt (XLT) is a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ that will help you grow in your faith. The night begins with live praise and worship music. This leads into a witness talk or teaching, followed by adoration in the Catholic tradition. Adoration is when the Eucharist is exposed in a monstrance. You may have experienced this at a youth conference, in a chapel, during Holy Thursday, or at Prayer Path. If you have never experienced adoration - DON'T WORRY!! We will walk through it together. It's really just quiet time for you to talk with Jesus in a personal way, something we often don't give ourselves. Middle and High Schoolers from Nativity Orchard Park gather for XLT each month and they want to welcome us. It will be a great chance to get to know some of them. We will meet at Nativity Parish at 5:50 and sit together. There is some social time included at the end too. If you have siblings or friends in middle or high school feel free to invite them to join us!
Parents and Teens join our Remind Text Group for alerts by texting "@olshyouth" to phone # 81010.
For those regularly attending we need to have a registration form on file - please have a parent or guardian fill out the form to the right under photos.
2020-2021 COVID Guidelines for Youth Group in person
-Please do a self health assessment prior to coming. Do not attend if you have a fever, stomach ache, chills, or other Covid symptoms; have been knowingly exposed to Covid; or have traveled to an area on the quarantine list within the past 2 weeks. You will be asked upon arrival to verify these things.
-Upon arrival each attendee (including volunteers) will have a temperature check and be asked to use hand sanitizer. Regular hand washing will be encouraged throughout.
-Please enter the Main Parish Center Doors wearing a mask. Since some of our games are athletic and we include snack, we will not be masked the entire time and there are brief times your child may be near someone who is not masked. We will do our best to wear masks and maintain safety.
- Snacks will be individual portions and served by gloved and masked volunteers to reduce multiple people touching utensils, reaching in bowls, etc.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Sarah at firstname.lastname@example.org or 716-847-8209.
