Our children’s testimonials after receiving First Holy Communion!
Now that we have celebrated First Communion, our children had some time to reflect. Here are some of their thoughts:
How did you feel after receiving The Body of Christ for the first time?
Excited! Then I would have a party.
I felt good, a little nervous & excited. Only a little nervous because I practiced a lot, so mostly excited.

Ready and excited.
I felt happy after receiving the Body of Christ.

I felt a little nervous but mostly excited.
How did you feel when you left the church that day?
I felt excited and blessed.
I was happy and excited that I did it and I was excited for my party.

How has your First Communion made you a better follower of Jesus?
Because I ate His Body (the bread)
It opened my heart to Jesus.
I am because now Hi is in my body.
I am because I know Jesus is with me all the time.
It made me a better follower of Jesus because I feel accepted.
