John was a 1957 graduate of Bishop Timon where he was All-Catholic in football, track, and baseball. He played in the first city/county All State game. He was an Army veteran and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. John received his Certified Property Casualty Underwriting degree in 1974. He was awarded Insurance Person of the Year in 1994. John retired as Resident Executive Vice-President of the Beacon Insurance Group (formerly General Accident Insurance Company). John was a long standing club member and served on the board of directors at the Orchard Park Country Club winning several golf tournaments and had several holes in one. Additionally, John served on the Board of Trustees for Bishop Timon- St. Jude High School, the Board of Directors for the Insurance Club of Buffalo, and coached Little Loop football in West Seneca for fifteen years. John was a 1957 graduate of Bishop Timon where he was All-Catholic in football, track, and baseball. He played in the first city/county All State game. He was an Army veteran and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. John received his Certified Property Casualty Underwriting degree in 1974. He was awarded Insurance Person of the Year in 1994. John retired as Resident Executive Vice-President of the Beacon Insurance Group (formerly General Accident Insurance Company). John was a long standing club member and served on the board of directors at the Orchard Park Country Club winning several golf tournaments and had several holes in one. Additionally, John served on the Board of Trustees for Bishop Timon- St. Jude High School, the Board of Directors for the Insurance Club of Buffalo, and coached Little Loop football in West Seneca for fifteen years.
