SILENT PRAYER:
Do you go to Mass and forget what the readings were? 
Do you forget what the homily was about? 
When you say the Rosary does your mind wander all over the place? 
Is reading the Bible more like reading the telephone book? 
Do you feel that your prayer life has dried up and you ask yourself "why pray at all"?

The great Carmelite spiritual writer, St. John of the Cross tells us that these are signs that God is leading us into a deeper relationship with Him.  
​It is called contemplation.

The contemplative prayer group meets on Monday evenings from 7:30pm - 9pm in the chapel.  During the summer, from June thru September, we meet on the patio in front of the church at the same time.  On the second Saturday of each month, we meet in the church hall from 8:30am - 11:30am.
