OUR LADY of the SACRED HEART

Our parish buys gift cards and certificates at a discount and sells them to parents of OLSH School students and parishioners at face value. These cards and certificates are for leading national retailers and restaurants; many local businesses are featured as well.
On the order form, the discount level is indicated next to every store or restaurant listed. The discount is what the parish receives in total profit from a gift card purchase. The parish then returns HALF of the profit to the person placing the order OR that individual may designate the profit to be credited to one of several different organizations (e. g., Religious Education, Capital Campaign Fund, etc.). Here is an example:

The “Discount %” column indicates how much profit the parish receives for a $25 Kaufmann’s gift card purchase. In the example above, it is 10% or a total of $2.50. The total profit is then split, 50/50, between the parish and the purchaser. If the purchaser is a parent of an OLSH School student, they may choose to keep the profit in an individual account to accumulate throughout the year and be used as a tuition credit. All others may designate their profit to a specific school family OR return it to the church.

CONTACTSPlease direct additional questions to Karen Bartnik at 822-8832 or Colleen Coughlin at 824-7433. |
Pre-orders are collected every Monday and filled on Friday of the same week. Parents of school children will receive pre-orders through school. Parishioners may pick up their pre-orders after mass at the SCRIP desk in the Bride’s Room.
This is a terrific way to raise money for the parish without having to donate a single dime! By planning ahead and purchasing gift cards for normal, every day purchases, you can be earning cash back and supporting our church at the same time. The program is beneficial for all and the potential is endless!
